1 Skara cathedral (Skara domkyrka). A medieval cathedral, among the oldest in Scandinavia. 2 Lake Hornborga (Hornborgasjön). A must for birdwatching in the area. Known as the lake where up to 12,000 cranes stop on their way back from warmer countries. Situated about 20 km from town center. 3 Varnhem monastery.
