About The Taiwan Times
The Taiwan Times (台灣國際報) is a Taiwan-based, multilingual news publication. We report the world — news, culture and travel across Asia and beyond — and we bring Taiwan to readers everywhere. Our mission is people-to-people diplomacy: helping the world know Taiwan, in its own languages.
What we cover
Daily news from Taiwan and around the world, alongside deeper features on culture, travel and why Taiwan matters. Every story is published in multiple languages so readers can follow it in the language they prefer.
Editorial standards
We aim for accuracy, fairness and a neutral voice, especially on political and cross-strait topics. Sources are credited. Corrections are made promptly when we get something wrong.
Use of AI
Our articles are produced by our editorial team, with AI assisting the editing and translation process. Every article carries the name of the editor responsible, and translated pieces also credit a translator. Where AI has assisted, the article says so.
