Understand

The district includes the towns of Ebern, Eltmann, Haßfurt, Hofheim, Königsberg, and Zeil am Main. Also a number of municipalities including Maroldsweisach.

Getting there

By train Würzburg–Bamberg railway. The Landkreis is part of the VGN tariff union, the second largest by area in Germany. It sits along its northwestern border.
