Eastern Slovenia is the far northeastern region of Slovenia. It includes Prekmurje at the eastern end of the region on the borders of Hungary and Austria. Prekmurje is a scenic, tranquil region known for its rolling Goričko hills, the tranquil Mura River, and unique geothermal features.
