Ossola

The Ossola ([ˈɔssola], Ossolano: Òssola), also Valle Ossola or Val d'Ossola (Walser: Eschetaal, Eschental), is an area of Northwest Italy situated to the north of Lago Maggiore. It lies within the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the region of Piedmont. Its principal river is the Toce, and its most important town Domodossola.
