Corno alle Scale Regional Park (Parco regionale del Corno alle Scale) is a regional park in the Bolognese Apennines, in Emilia-Romagna, northern Italy. It lies entirely within the municipality of Lizzano in Belvedere, in the Metropolitan City of Bologna, and protects part of the high Apennine ridge around Corno alle Scale, the highest summit of the Bolognese Apennines. The park was established by Emilia-Romagna Regional Law no. 11 of 2 April 1988. The official regional technical sheet gives its area as 4,700.24 ha (11, 614.5 acres) and its elevation range as 775 to 1,944 m (2, 543 to 6, 378 ft) above sea level. It is managed by the Ente di gestione per i Parchi e la Biodiversità Emilia Orientale. The protected area includes beech woods, chestnut groves, bilberry heaths, high-altitude grasslands, sandstone ridges, stream valleys, waterfalls and landforms shaped by former glacial activity. Its natural and cultural significance is linked to the combination of high-Apennine geomorphology, specialised montane habitats, historic woodland use and religious and rural settlements associated with the Dardagna, Silla and Rio Baricello valleys.
