Imamzadeh Hamzah

Kashmar County, Iran

The Imamzadeh Hamzah is a Twelver Shi'ite imamzadeh and mosque complex, located in Kashmar, in the province of Razavi Khorasan, Iran. The funerary complex includes the tomb of Sayyid Ḥamzah ibn Mūsā, the garden and the public cemetery. The complex was added to the Iran National Heritage List on 31 May 2003, administered by the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Iran, and is one of the holiest sites in Twelver Shia Islam.
