Foundation of the Covenant

The Foundation of the Covenant (Socle de l'Alliance) has been established in Liergues since March 11, 2020, in front of the main entrance of the Château de l'Eclair. It is dedicated to the victims of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami (Japan, March 11, 2011), and was inaugurated under the auspices of Mimasaka Province (Mayor Seiji Hagiwara) and in the presence of Senator Élisabeth Lamure.
