The National Library of the Philippines (NLP, Filipino: Pambansang Aklatan ng Pilipinas) serves as the country's principal repository of cultural heritage and literary resources. It is located in the district of Ermita in Manila, near the National Museum of Natural History and the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. The library is under the jurisdiction of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). The library houses the original manuscripts of José Rizal's Noli Me Tángere, El filibusterismo, and Mi último adiós.
