The Great St Bernard Hospice (Hospice du Grand St-Bernard, Ospizio del Gran San Bernardo, Hospiz auf dem Grossen St. Bernhard), named after its founder Bernard of Menthon, is a hospice and hostel for travelers at the Great St Bernard Pass in Switzerland. The hostel has been operated by a community of canons regular since its founding. At an elevation of 2,469 m (8, 100 ft) in the Pennine Alps, it is located a few hundred metres north from the border with Italy. It is part of the municipality of Bourg-Saint-Pierre in the Swiss canton of Valais.
