Vesanto is a town and municipality in North Savonia. Officially founded in 1871, the town's church was built in 1857.

Vesanto is 95 km west from Kuopio and 105 km north-east from Jyväskylä.

By car Drive from Kuopio or Viitasaari along the scenic Blue Highway. Here it follows regional roads.

By train You can travel to Kuopio by train and continue the last part by bus.
