RAF Valley is to the south of the village, is as Royal Air Force station concerned with the training of fast jet pilots and was the base for air sea rescue.

Getting there

By plane Flights from Cardiff to 1 Anglesey Airport (VLY IATA) ceased in 2022.

By train 2 Valley station is the last station before Holyhead with connections to Wrexham, Shrewsbury, Birmingham International, Crewe and Cardiff.

By car Valley can be reached via the A55 Holyhead - Chester.

1 Valley Wetlands RSPB reserve. Reed-fringed lakes. Chance to see tufted ducks, pochards, shovelers, gadwalls and grebes.
