Storm Lake travel guide
Understand
Storm Lake has acquired an interesting reputation among Western Iowans for several notable traits. The population, percentage-wise, is among the most diverse of any town in Iowa due to meat packing plants. Most of the recent residents come from Mexico, Sudan, and Laos, among other countries. In addition, it is one of the few towns in Western Iowa situated on a lake. Taking both into account, Storm Lake can provide a unique experience for those who choose to explore for a little while.
Getting there
