Rose Valley was founded by William Price in 1901, and was created as part of an imagined utopia following the Arts and Crafts movement.

Getting there

By car Rose Valley is located south of the county seat of Delaware County, Media. Rose Valley/Manchester Road is the major road into Rose Valley

By train SEPTA Regional Rail trains (Media/Elwyn Line) stop at Moylan-Rose Valley Station, located just outside the borough limits to the north.
