Understand

The history of Qain reaches back about 3,000 years ago. This area was also the center of the Sagarti tribes (Sagartians), one of the thirty Achaemenid satraps.

Getting there

Qain passenger terminal in the east of the city receives buses from cities such as Birjand, Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, and Zabul. The distance from Mashhad to Qain is 380 km, of which 280 km is a two-lane road. The distance from Tehran is 1020 km. It is 1 hour from Tehran to Birjand by plane and 100 km from Birjand to Qain or one hour.
