Drink & nightlife
Valencia is noted for its wines, and has been designated a Spanish Denominación de Origen. Both reds and whites are produced in two separate zones, in the northwest and in the southwest of the province. The most noteworthy is Bobal, which is grown only in the Utiel-Requena region in the northwest. Many wineries have tasting rooms and some also offer guided tours of their facilities. Near Ontinyent these include 1 Bodega El Angosto and 2 Bodegas Los Frailes.
