About Onești

Moldavia (Romanian: Moldova) is a region in north-eastern Romania, sharing a border with Moldova and Ukraine. It consists of the counties of Suceava, Iași, Vaslui, Galați, Vrancea, Botoșani, Neamț and Bacău.

Sturdza Palace, 65 km west of Iași, was built in Neo-Gothic style with Baroque elements at the end of the 19th century. Izvorul Muntelui Lake is a reservoir 4 km from the town of Bicaz. There are tourism and boating facilities.

Ceahlău Massif near Bicaz is a mountain range with trails that take 3½-6½ hours. Bicaz Gorge, Șugău Gorge, and Bicăjel Gorge can be found to the west of Bicaz.
