1 Gassan Hiwa Castle (月山日和城址). A former castle that was reconstructed using Inuyama Castle as its model. It operates as the Takajo Historic Museum (高城町郷土資料館). (updated Sep 2016) 2 Miyakonojo Shimazu Residence (都城島津邸), ☏ +81 98-623-2116. 09:00-17:00. Former residence of the local lord with a preserved residence, storehouses, garden and more. Many of the lord's possessions are on display. ¥210. (updated Sep 2016)
