Latrobe travel guide
Understand
Latrobe is a small, laid-back town located on the Mersey River. It has many small and very nice cafes and boutique shops, as well as a nice river-side parade and a caravan park.
Getting there
Latrobe is roughly a 10-minute drive from Devonport, and a 70-minute drive from Launceston.
Getting around
Latrobe has access to bus services via Mersey Link, who come through locally, as well as through Metro Tasmania and Redline Coaches, who have runs from Devonport out into the rest of the state. Travelling by car is the fastest and easiest option in Tasmania, though.
