About La Plagne

La Plagne is a French ski area in the alpine valley of the Tarentaise (Savoie).

The ski area is linked to Plan Peisey, part of the larger Les Arcs resort by the Vanoise Express gondola. Ski passes are available covering the three resorts.

La Plagne travel guide

Understand

The interlinked ski areas of La Plagne, Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry are marketed as the Paradiski area. The highest point of the resort is served by Les Glaciers gondola (constructed in 2023) and is 3,080m above sea level.

Getting there

La Plagne is 18km by road from Bourg-Saint-Maurice and 55km from Albertville.

Do

Even without accessing Les Arcs, La Plagne has plenty of terrain to keep skiers and boarders occupied. Off piste snow can be very good during the main season.

Go next

For winter sports, Ski areas at La Rosière, Les Trois Vallées, Val d'Isere and Tignes are all within an hours drive of La Plagne. The nearest town is Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
