Getting there

By car Joutsa is on Highway 4 between Lahti and Jyväskylä.

By bus Long-distance buses, going along the highway some of them from Helsinki all the way to Rovaniemi, stop at Joutsa.

1 Joutsa House Museum (Joutsan talomuseo), Museotie 2. A set of old wooden buildings, that have been transported there from other parts of Joutsa. The oldest is a barn that has been built in 1711. (updated Aug 2023)
