About Holmes Chapel
Holmes Chapel, until 1974 known as Church Holme, is a village in Cheshire. It's only five miles west of the frontier of the known universe, thanks to Jodrell Bank radio telescope. With a population of 6000, Holmes Chapel is mainly a commuter town for the galaxy known as Greater Manchester.

Getting there
The town is 20 miles from Manchester Airport, off junction 18 of M6. 1 Holmes Chapel station has Northern Rail connections from Crewe and Manchester.

The present church originated about 1430 as a timber-framed building with a Perpendicular sandstone west tower. 2 Twemlow Viaduct. 1841 viaduct was designed for the Manchester and Birmingham Railway Company by George W. Dane Meadow (footpath running from Moreton Drive to the A50 by the bridge at Cranage), [email protected]. Dane Meadow is a 7-hectare area of land to the north of Holmes Chapel within the Dane Valley.
