Dolný Kubín is a town in Central Slovakia, and the historical capital of the Orava region.

Understand

The first written reference of the location dates from 1314, more detailed information about the settlement are from 1380s when it belonged to the Orava castle.

There are both Inter-city trains and buses from most major cities in Slovakia.
