Notre-Dame-des-Vertus Chapel
La Flèche, France
The Notre-Dame des Vertus chapel is a Catholic religious building in the town of La Flèche, Sarthe. Built in Gallo-Roman times (at the crossroads of the Roman roads from Le Mans to Angers, and from Tours to Laval), it was rebuilt in the 11th and 12th centuries under the patronage of Saint Ouen. It was restored in the 17th century by the Jesuits of the La Flèche College, and dedicated to Notre-Dame-des-Vertus. It has been listed as a historic monument since January 18, 1934.
