Abbaye de Saint-Symphorien de Metz

The Abbey of Saint-Symphorien or St Symphorian's Abbey is a former Benedictine monastery founded by Saint Papoul, bishop of Metz, in 609. It was the first Benedictine abbey for men built in Austrasia.
