By car SS 131 Carlo Felice Cagliari-Porto Torres – There are 4 exits along the highway: Oristano South, Oristano-Fenosu, Oristano-Silì-Simaxis and Oristano North. The SS 292 Nord Occidentale Sarda connect Bosa with Oristano.

By train 1 Oristano railway station. Located along the Cagliari-Golfo Aranci railway, it allows you to reach the North (Macomer, Ozieri, Sassari, Golfo Aranci and other towns in northern Sardinia and central-western Sardinia) and the South Sardinia (Cagliari and other various towns). Religious buildings 1 Santa Maria Assunta Cathedral. Destroyed in a siege, it was rebuilt during the reign of Mariano II. Of the original structure, only the bases of the apse and bell tower remain, along with the Chapel of the Remedy, which houses some medieval sculptures. In 1733, the 13th-century Gothic Cathedral was demolished to make way for a Baroque one. The Chapel of the Archives dates back to the 17th-century reconstruction. The complex was built in 1343 by Judge Peter III of Arborea over a pre-existing church dedicated to Saint Vincent. It is a Franco-Gothic style building with a single nave and a square apse. It is one of the few remains of medieval art in Oristano. (updated Jul 2026) 7 Our Lady of Mount Carmel church and cloister (Chiesa del Carmine). Designed by the architect Viana, it was built on commission from the Marquis of Arcais in the Baroque-Rococo style. It is one of the finest examples of Baroque and Rococo architecture in Oristano. The church and adjoining convent were erected in 1608 thanks to the generosity of the Oristano nobleman Domenico Paderi.
