Komlóska

The name Komlóska was first mentioned in historical documents in 1396 as Komlós and later in 1397 as Komlóstelek. Rusyn settlers from modern-day Slovakia arrived in the village in the 1720s. To this day, the village has preserved its unique Rusyn traditions and Greek Catholic faith.

By train There are direct trains from Budapest to the village of Vámosújfalu, from where you can take a bus to Komlóska. The name of the train station in Vámosújfalu is Olaszliszka-Tolcsva. By bus Bus routes 3891 and 3884 run every 1–2 hours from the Vámosújfalu Train Station to Komlóska. The earliest departure is at 4:50 AM, and the latest is at 5:35 PM. The journey takes about 20 minutes and costs 450 Ft.
