Häusern is a high-altitude health resort (Luftkurort) in the Southern Black Forest at 900 m on a sunny plateau between the town of St. Blasien and the Schluchsee lake.

Häusern is defined by a unique mix of high-end gastronomy and industrial heritage. While it serves as a peaceful base for hikers and spa-goers, it is also a vital node for the region's renewable energy, housing the first stage of the Schluchsee hydropower plants. The village is known for its "mist-free" location, often staying sunny when the valleys below are shrouded in fog.
如何抵達
By car It's directly on the B500 (High Road), about 10 minutes south of Schluchsee and 5 minutes from St. Blasien.
By bus No train station. Take Bus 7322 from Waldshut (train connection to Basel/Schaffhausen) or Bus 7319 from Schluchsee (train connection to Freiburg).

The village is compact and easily walkable. For excursions, the KONUS Card allows free use of all regional buses and trains, making the short hop to the Schluchsee or St. Blasien very convenient.

A small, picturesque waterfall in a gorge on the outskirts of St. Blasien. Ideal for a short nature walk or as a stopover on the Albsteig hiking trail. Hiking the Albtal: Follow the trails down into the dramatic Alb River valley towards St. Blasien (approx. 4 km walk).
