A sheriff in the US state of Texas has slammed US President Joe Biden for the ’embarrassing’ border crisis at the meeting point of US and Mexico.

Andy Louderback, sheriff of Jackson County in the state was speaking on the popular US TV show ‘Fox and Friends Weekend’ offering a personal look at how the border crisis is affecting his own corner of the state.

            President Biden being sworn in

Deeming the Biden administration policies in the area a “complete embarrassment”, the sheriff revealed that the local Texas National Guard have even had to resort to litter pick-ups – cleaning garbage dumped by illegal migrants.

Louderback said “It’s incomprehensible that a national security border, our border with another…foreign country is in the shape that it is.”

The person tasked with overall control of the the border issue, vice-President Kamala Harris meanwhile remains absent without leave having now gone seven weeks without holding a press conference since being put in charge of one of America’s most pressing domestic policy issues.

The sheriff went on to say the problems are in large part “preventable” if President (Biden) or vice-President Harris took the time to “see for themselves” the cases of “car crashes, increased deaths, exploitation of women, and environmental concerns” in the region of Jackson County.

“(m)igrants come into the border or stash along the travel routes into the major cities here,” Louderback continued, pointing out “This is a major travel route, the number one human trafficking here in the United States, a tremendous hub for human trafficking and narcotics” before referring to the often ignored toll on locals in the southern border region with “Do we talk about the level of fear here in Texas and across the United States as an open border policy expands here? Do we talk about the cartel expansion and the strength and the power that they now exhibit here in the United States?”
