SpiceJet has announced the launch of a daily non-stop flight connecting Delhi with Pakyong (Gangtok), Sikkim effective 23rd January, 2021.

Pakyong airport is the only operational civil airport handling commercial flight operations in the State, and SpiceJet will be the first and only airline to offer daily direct air connectivity between Delhi and the North-Eastern State of Sikkim. The airline will deploy a Bombardier Q400 aircraft on the Delhi-Pakyong-Delhi route.
In addition, India’s favourite airline and the largest regional player SpiceJet will add a second frequency on the Delhi-Leh-Delhi sector starting 27th January, 2021.
Commenting on the new initiative, SpiceJet Chairman & Managing Director Ajay Singh said the company is delighted to launch new flights connecting Pakyong and Leh to the National Capital.
“Sikkim is one of the most beautiful and sought after travel destinations in India. Our exclusive flights from Delhi to Pakyong (Gangtok) will cater to the growing demand of leisure travellers and backpackers who wanted to visit this beautiful city in the foothills of Himalayas,” Mr. Singh said.
With the launch of these new flights, SpiceJet Chairman & Managing Director Ajay Singh said the company aims to make journeys shorter and the stays longer at these beautiful destinations.”
The airline has announced an introductory promotional fare starting at INR 4310 /- on Delhi-Pakyong and Pakyong-Delhi route
With the launch of the new flight services, passengers from Pakyong and Leh can now conveniently travel to a host of other cities both on SpiceJet’s domestic as well as international network via multiple onward connections from Delhi.
Bookings are now open on www.spicejet.com, SpiceJet’s mobile app and through online travel portals and travel agents.
