We have seen that the October 7 attack on Israel from Hamas terrorists has been condemned all over the world, but it is now also seen that the people who condemned the attack on Israel are now not supporting the country over their counter-offensive towards Gaza in order to completely destroy Hamas terrorists. Now, we have known that the FBI Director has said at a congressional hearing that “The actions of Hamas and its allies will serve as an inspiration the likes of which we haven’t seen since ISIS launched its so-called caliphate several years ago”. Basically, what the FBI Director wants to say is that the attack done by Hamas on Israel will inspire a lot of the other groups around the world to pull off such an attack on their enemies and they will think that if Hamas can do it then they can do it too. This will also be a confidence booster for them and we can say that this can be visible from a distance.
FBI Director also mentioned that “since the start of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Gaza earlier this month, multiple foreign terrorist organizations have called for attacks against Americans and the West, raising the threat posed by homegrown U.S. violent extremists.” FBI Director also made Congress aware that there has been a significant increase in the number of attacks that have taken place on US military bases overseas by Iran-backed militia groups. At the hearing, it is reported that “Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said that hate directed at Jewish students in the United States following the start of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Gaza had added to an increase in antisemitism”.
It is also worth mentioning about the White House’s alarm over “anti-Jewish incidents at U.S. universities as tensions have prompted university officials to tighten security.” We have also mentioned a report earlier this month regarding how a flight from Israel was attacked while landing at Russia’s Dagestan which can be clearly seen as a hate crime and had it happened at the airport, there could have been many casualties that were avoided due to the plane’s doors being locked.
