Gas prices in Taiwan have marked their third consecutive week of increase in one of the most positive, yet costly, signs yet that the world is steadily recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic of recent months.

Prices at CPC pumps in Taiwan on Monday morning stood at

92 Unleaded – NT$ 19.9

95 Unleaded – NT$ 21.4

98 Unleaded – NT$ 23.4

Diesel – NT$ 17.4

  • all prices are per liter.

Prices in Taiwan are typically adjusted overnight Sunday to Monday.

A huge decrease in demand through much of March and into April as economies around the world went into shutdown coupled to a production spat between Saudi Arabia and Russia, saw prices in Taiwan dip as low as NT$ 17.3 for 92 Unleaded, and NT$ 14.4 for diesel fuel in early April.
