The Tama Zoological Park (Tama Dōbutsukōen, Tama Zoo for short) is a zoo, owned by the government of Tokyo Metropolis, and located in Hino, Tokyo, Japan. The Tama Zoo was opened on May 5, 1958, originally as a branch (satellite facility) of the Ueno Zoo.
