Israeli Airstrike Kills Hamas Militant Linked to Last Year's Abduction of Soldiers

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated in a release this week that an airstrike in the Gaza Strip successfully eliminated a member of Hamas’s military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades. The IDF accused the operative of direct involvement in the October 7, 2023, attack on Kibbutz Nirim, specifically participating in the abduction of three Israeli soldiers: Colonel Asaf Hamami, Sergeant Tomer Yaakov Ahimas, and Kiril Brodski.
