Hivjufossen is a 250-metre (820 ft) tall waterfall located west of the village of Hovet in Hol Municipality in Buskerud county, Norway. Located about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from the centre of the village Hovet (towards Aurland Municipality), there is a hiking path that leads to the Hivjufossen waterfall, which is a local tourist attraction. The waterfall can only be reached after by a 40-60 minute climb. Hivjufossen consists of an upper and lower waterfall which are created by the water of the river Storekvelvi that streams from Hardangervidda National Park to Hallingskarvet National Park. It is joined by other rivers and streams as it flows in the direction of the river Storåne in Hovet.
