The Universidad Nacional del Altiplano de Puno (UNAP, English: 'National University of the Altiplano of Puno') is a public university located in the city of Puno, Peru. Founded in 1856, it was one of the first public universities founded within the Department of Puno. Initially, it was created as a training school for the aristocracy. Today, UNAP has 37 professional schools which are organized into 20 faculties.
