The Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy (TMA), commonly referred to as Tbilisi Medical Academy, is a private medical university located in Tbilisi, Georgia. The academy was founded in 1992 by Georgian physician and pediatric surgeon Petre Shotadze, and was renamed in his honour in 1999 following his passing. The academy offers a one-cycle, English-language Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme designed for Georgian and international students. Its Medicine programme is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools as a six-year programme.
