Chascomús train station

Chascomús Partido, Argentina · built 1865

Chascomús is a former railway station in the homonymous city of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. The station, built and opened in 1865 by the Buenos Aires Great Southern Railway, fell into disuse in December 2014 when new Chascomús railway and bus station was opened. Nowadays the station building is seat of "Centro Cultural Vieja Estación", a cultural center owned by the Municipality of Chascomús after it was transferred by the Government of Argentina.
