Recently, a man in Chiayi City used a pair of scissors to rob a convenience store near the night market on Culture Road. He stole over NT$200,000 in cash. Following an investigation, the Chiayi City Prosecutors Office has filed charges against the man and recommended a 10-year sentence. According to the investigation, the man surnamed Wu entered the convenience store in the early hours of June 13 and threatened the store clerk with scissors, stealing over NT$200,000 in cash. After the investigation, the Chiayi City Prosecutors Office deemed that Wu's criminal behavior was severe and involved offenses such as robbery with a deadly weapon.
