Ruthin School

Ruthin School was a private day and boarding school located on the outskirts of Ruthin, the county town of Denbighshire, North Wales. It was over seven hundred years old, making it one of the oldest schools in the United Kingdom. Originally a school for boys, it had been co-educational since 1990. On 1st July 2026 the owners announced that the school would close at the end of the week, and that the operating company would enter administration following the end of term. Myddelton College in Denbigh said that it would offer a place to every Ruthin pupil for the following September.
