Aka River (Akagawa, lit. 'red river') is a Class A river in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan. It flows into the Sea of Japan.
There are football fields on Akagawa riverbed in Tsuruoka, and they were NEC Yamagata SC's practice grounds.
