Federal Correctional Institution, Loretto

The Federal Correctional Institution, Loretto (FCI Loretto) is a low-security United States federal prison for male inmates in Pennsylvania. An adjacent satellite prison camp houses minimum-security male offenders. It is operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, a division of the United States Department of Justice. FCI Loretto is located in Allegheny Township, Cambria County, in southwest Pennsylvania, between Altoona and Johnstown, 70 miles (110 km) east of Pittsburgh. As of 2016, most prisoners have sentences related to illegal drugs. As of that year, the average sentence length is 12 years, and some prisoners are serving life sentences.
