Ishi-no-Hōden

The Ishi no Hōden is a megalithic monument located in the grounds of the Ōshiko Jinja, a Shinto shrine located in the city of Takasago, Hyōgo Prefecture in the Kansai region of Japan. Of unknown age, it was designated a National Historic Site of Japan in 1979 collectively with the nearby Tatsuyama Stone Quarries (Tatsuyama Ishisaiseki iseki), which dates from the Kofun period. It is also called the Ame no Ukiishi.
