Lake Marcapomacocha

Lake Marcapomacocha (possibly from Quechua marka village, puma cougar, puma, qucha lake) is a lake in Peru. It is located in the Junín Region, Yauli Province, Marcapomacocha District. Lake Marcapomacocha lies south of Lake Marcacocha and east of Lake Antacota. It is situated at a height of about 4,400 metres (14, 436 ft), about 3.67 km long and 1.95 km at its widest point. It has a catchment area of 141 square kilometres (54 sq mi).
