Vamizi Island [vɐˈmizi] (Kisiwa cha Vamizi, in Swahili) is situated in the far north of Mozambique in the Quirimbas Archipelago. The island is recognised as one of the leading luxury private islands and conservation projects in East Africa and the Indian Ocean.
