Koločep (pronounced [kɔ̂lɔtʃɛp]; locally known as Kalamota (pronounced [kalǎːmɔta]) from Italian: Calamotta) is the southernmost inhabited island in Croatia and one of the three inhabited Elaphiti Islands situated near the city of Dubrovnik. Koločep has an area of 2.44 square kilometres (0.94 square miles). According to the 2021 census, its population was 231. In the 2011 census, the population of the island was 163.
