Aka Island (Okinawan:Aka; Aka-nu-shima)is an island in the Pacific Ocean and is part of the Kerama Islands group in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan.

The island is commonly known as Aka or Aka-nu-shima and is located some 15 miles to the southwest of Okinawa Island. It has a subtropical climate and a population of approximately 330 people.
