Memphis Riverline Hotel
Memphis, United States · built 1985
The Memphis Riverline Hotel (formerly known as the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Marriott Memphis Downtown and Sheraton Memphis Downtown) is a convention center hotel in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. With 600 rooms, it is the largest hotel in Memphis. It is connected to the Renasant Convention Center and was built to help draw large conventions to the city. Built and renovated with taxpayer financing, in its early decades the hotel did not generate enough revenue to repay those loans. In response to deteriorating conditions and the loss of convention business by Memphis, the city purchased the hotel in 2025. As of 2026, it is scheduled for a major renovation.
