Grand Hotel Prishtina

Pristina, Kosovo

The Grand Hotel Prishtina is a hotel situated in the Mother Theresa Boulevard in downtown Pristina, the capital of Kosovo. Originally projected by the Albanian architect Bashkim Fehmiu together with the two Serbian architects Dragan Kovačević and Miša Jevremović, its building started in 1974 and was completed in 1978. The hotel features 350 rooms spread out on 13 floors, and covers a total area of over 32,000 m2 (340, 000 sq ft). Today, however, only 1% of the rooms in the hotel are used for guests.
