Taipei Fine Arts Museum's Historic Building Transforms into Brilliant Art Space

The National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute (NTCRI)'s old office building and the War Situation Room are two prominent historical landmarks in Taiwan. Due to prolonged use and exposure to the elements, both buildings had faced severe damage and were even slated for demolition. However, under intense public pressure, the government ultimately decided to renovate, completing the restoration in 2022.

Now, a new chapter is unfolding for these two buildings. The NTCRI's management unit has not only renovated the exterior of the buildings but also actively promotes the development of culture and the arts. Recently, the NTCRI launched the "NTCRI Dynamic Light Gallery" projection plan, which allows image creators to come to the NTCRI, utilize its dynamic lighting features to capture their works, and exhibit them at the NTCRI's Dynamic Light Gallery.

The purpose of this plan is to transform the NTCRI's buildings into a diverse cultural and artistic space. The NTCRI Dynamic Light Gallery plan will take place from the first to the third day of every month. During this period, the Dynamic Light Gallery will invite different image creators to the NTCRI to capture their works and display them at the gallery. In addition to image creators, the NTCRI will also invite musicians and dancers to perform experimental performances at the NTCRI.
